Miranda

Miranda Olszewski was born on February 22, 2013, in Boston, Massachusetts. She recently celebrated her 10th birthday, but don’t let her age fool you! Peter and Melissa were introduced to Miranda by local dog trainer Alan Finn of Designing Dogs in Old Forge, PA. Peter, Melissa, and Rachel fell in love with her instantly! Miranda derives her name from the famous case known as Miranda v. Arizona, which afforded individuals protection against self-incrimination under the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Miranda is trained in obedience and security. Even though Miranda is a German Shepard, she is a Labrador at heart. Miranda is friendly and loves people, especially children. Miranda is a full-time employee at the Scranton office, bringing in the newspaper and greeting our guests. She especially loves when UPS, FedEx, or the mailman stop by because she makes them play tug of war before leaving the office. In her free time Miranda enjoys swimming, hiking at the Lacawac Sanctuary, and playing frisbee.
