A Certified Public Accountant, Scartelli Olszewski Business Manager Carole A. Lesh handles the firm’s wide-ranging financial and business management functions. Her responsibilities include budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting, preparation and filing of various tax information , maintaining the general ledger, management of the IOLTA and Master Escrow accounts, settlement processing, payroll processing, human resource management and other various management duties.

Prior to joining Scartelli Olszewski, Carole worked as a Controller for a small business and senior accountant for both an international corporation and a large regional accounting firm.
 
Her practical experience includes conducting independent accounting audits and reviews, financial statement preparation and presentation, financial allocations, tax preparation, responding to U.S. and international tax notices, general ledger and payroll management, reconciliation of trial balance accounts with supporting work papers, working with Department of Community and Economic Development personnel regarding Keystone Opportunity Zone applications and filings, installation of various accounting and tax packages, interviewing and training personnel.

Carole is a magna cum laude graduate of King’s College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She also holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Luzerne County Community College, graduating with a grade point average of 3.7.

Carole is a resident of Dickson City, Pa.  Her interests include perennial gardening, walking her dog, Toby Keith, mountain biking and golfing.
